BPMA appoints Summersault Communications
to publish major trade magazine
The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) has awarded the contract to publish its magazine for the sales promotion and incentive industry, Promotions Buyer, to Summersault Communications, a leading employee, customer and business publisher which works for top FTSE 500 and public sector clients across the UK.
The agency was selected by the BPMA to produce, publish and distribute the magazine following a competitive tender. Distributed to more than 13,000 promotions and incentives professionals, Promotions Buyer is published on a bimonthly basis. The first issue produced by Summersault Communications will be the November/December 2007 issue.
Gail Franks, Managing Director of Summersault Communications, said, “We are delighted to be working with the BPMA on this title and it further strengthens our offering of dedicated customer magazines. Our specialised team of journalists, editors and designers will be looking to build on the already strong foundations of the magazine and produce a publication that will offer the readership everything they will need to know in the field of promotional merchandising.”
Gordon Glenister, BPMA Director-General, said, “We are looking forward to building a strong relationship with the Summersault team and welcome their editorial and design expertise as we continue to produce a magazine that both informs and entertains.”
Other customer publications in the Summersault portfolio include Central Train’s Connect, Booker Cash & Carry’s Talking Shop and Thomson Fly’s Aim Magazine.
Summersault also works with McDonald’s, National Grid, TUI and Group 4 Securicor on a range of publications.
